6 Months Old

I can’t believe that Holly and Josh will be 6 months old on Sunday, where did that go? Josh seems to have regressed slightly this week and is waking at 5am – 6am in the morning, it was suggested that it could be because it is getting light earlier, as I actually can’t function at that time of the morning, I will make a concerted effort to pay attention when I get up tomorrow morning (which is inevitable) to see if this is the case.


I love this stage of their development. I went back to work when Ben was 6 months old so I didn’t have as much time to enjoy it. Am looking forward to cooking up a storm in the kitchen now that they will be progressing from fruit and vegetable purees onto something more interesting. Holly and Josh are already developing their own individual styles of eating. Josh is an ‘I will eat anything and everything’ type of a baby, and Holly is a licker, she likes to taste have food first. There is an exception to this which is Banana Porridge which I think that I could feed them both in bucket loads!!

Looking forward to spending Sunday with my family, The best present that they could give me I already have, which is them! I love love love being a mum. xxx
